Alright im slightly annoyed at this point. Basically the motor is back in the car and everything is being bolted up. I bought this piping back in may and this is the first time to install it. It just doesn't seem to wanna bolt up properly I have tried every which way to install this damn thing . Anyone else have this UICP? Thanks! ** Also before anyone asks it was purchased BRAND NEW from extremepsi**

i would couple the top and bottom pieces then try to rotate and match it up to the intercooler

There intercooler pipes are designed for a stock fitment intercooler. Not whatever it is that you have. No wonder why it doesnt fit. On a side not, have you contacted Jim at jmf before posting on here? I know for a fact he would be more then willing to help

Agreed. Looks like it would fit stock/CBRD/old AMS style inlets, but not the ETS/Buschur style.

Good deal! If we can figure something out to make it work on my application that would be fantastic!

If it's made to fit the stock FMIC it can be made to fit your ETS by cutting the pipe and rebeading it.

The above posts are correct--those IC pipes are designed around the stock fmic and similar inlet/outlet aftermarket fmic's.

Yes,

that intercooler has an angled outlet, which will not allow that pipe to work!

We work closely with JMFAB and typically do NOT have fitment issues, if we ever have, its been resolved immediately.

Sincerely

CB

*** A customer sent me this link and I thought it was his post, didn't even notice the date, I will leave the comment since I spent a couple minutes typing it up ***

We designed our intercooler to work with the stock intercooler piping. The inlet and outlet meet the stock piping perfectly and use a straight 2.5" transition hose. I'm not sure why they didn't build the piping the same. If you look at most of the aftermarket intercooler piping on the market they all end in the factory location.

This allows you to run our piping with factory intercooler since it ends in the factory location as well as aftermarket intercoolers that terminate right in front of the factory piping. (ETS, AMS, Buschur, ETC)

I don't really see how it would fit correctly unless it curves up towards the factory intercooler. It's hard when customers mix and match parts and want them to fit, in most cases nothing fits 100% correct unless you stick with the same brand or use a brand that terminates in the factory location.

Thanks!

Michael
