Trans?clutch?

Got a question Evom members... If I shift from 1st to second under 3k rpms (if I put the clutch in fast) it makes a clunk noise is it normal?

Is this clunk coming from the rear? If so , then yes it is normal. The rear differential has soft rubber mounts that causes it to bounce and make that clunk noise. If you shift fast and release the clutch fast during a WOT pull, it will feel like someone hit the back of your seat with a sledge hammer.

Only way around it is to replace the diff support with aftermarket or shifter and release the clutch softer/smoother.

Unless your talking about a different clunk.

And when I turn off the car it makes a rattle noise. Idk if it's a motor mount?
