Stroked vs built 2.0

Okay guys so my Evo is done for this year. #4 rings took a dump. Wanna see what everyone thinks. I'm leaning towards built 2.0 cuz I will be doing track racing most of the time and will almost never being doing straight line unless it's just screwing around on the interstate. What do y'all think let's hear some input

if your gonna drag with it. 2.0 hands down. You can rev that thing to the moon lol. Your
Limited on the 2.3 stroker. Mostly good for road racing. 2.0 ftw

2.3L I never liked the short power band that was a turn off.

That's what I'm saying just build the 2.0 and just balance the crap outta the rotating assembly. I've always used eagle and Cp combo in my Nissan motors but this being my first Evo or mistubishi for that part what are some suggestions on pistons and rods

If your doing track (as in road race/hpde) the larger displacement is your friend. It let's you see peek hp and tq a little lower in the rpm band, which is kinder to your motor than reving out to 9.5k in lapping sessions. If your talking drag strip, do a 2.0 or a 2.1. For internals, I like Oliver or Carrillo and JE, Ross or Wiseco. The Wineburg crank is nice, but pricy.
Make sure you factor in the head setup that will accompany either setup.

Bottom line, building a 2.0 will allow you to rev higher, yes a stroked motor will not allow you to rev very high but one thing people are not mentioning is what u lose in the high rpm, you gain in the bottom end as far as trq is concerned, if you ever look at an EVO engine stats and the trq numbers are higher then the hp numbers I'll promise u it's usually a 2.4 liter do be informed you can have the best of both worlds, AMS's blue demon that was on the cover of Importtuner awhile back had a 2.3RR stroked motor that reved to 9k. But I'm sure it's expensive, good luck.

Well I have some time to think about this cuz im moving to Florida in January and I don't wanna take apart the motor now and loose stuff in the move. I'm leaning towards 2.0 or 2.1 because I've heard it last longer
