So what ur looking to hear is the switch kick on when u pressure up with a mity vac and at what psi it kicks on u can hear the switch but u really have to put ur ears close to the switch because its not that loud when it opens up rt?

Have you checked to make sure that 1) you are getting current all the way back to the secondary pump when the Hobbes switch opens? and 2) whether or not the secondary pump is still working at all even when it sees current? Maybe your secondary pump is dead or the wiring needs to be replaced after the fuse blew.
