Hobbs switch for twin in-tank pump setups.
So what ur looking to hear is the switch kick on when u pressure up with a mity vac and at what psi it kicks on u can hear the switch but u really have to put ur ears close to the switch because its not that loud when it opens up rt?
Ok my hobb switch went bad on my evo 9 it grounded out causing the second fuel pump to run after the car was off I had to remove the inline fuse in order for the fuel pump to stop running.....the problem I'm facing now is setting the adjustment on the switch to about 6 psi like the way the old one ran. I have a mighty vac pump and I pump the switch to see at what psi the 2nd pump is clicking on but I don't hear any click whatsoever and I'm pumping past 20 psi.....
Have you checked to make sure that 1) you are getting current all the way back to the secondary pump when the Hobbes switch opens? and 2) whether or not the secondary pump is still working at all even when it sees current? Maybe your secondary pump is dead or the wiring needs to be replaced after the fuse blew.
