Yeah, mine has no lump either, also upgraded from the 272/264 when I got the 2.3 installed.
Still running in the 2.3, so when I get my tune next month I'll get them set to +2.5 and 0.
Like you, I'm after acceleration, and like the boost kick. Cheers.

"Basic stuff" funny

very impressive power band. dont know why so many are so persistent with a billet blade on 35r. so a good turbo without it. good work Sean.

Here goes nothing. I had an Evo VI motor in my 03 evo. parts i put on...

HKS 274/278 cams
AMS fuel rail
PTE 880cc injectors
AEM EMS
Wavetrac Front diff
AMS intercooler
AMS UICP/LICP
BR intake
Walboro fuel pump
ACT stage 4 puck clutch
ACT streetlite flywheel
stock head
stock block

I was tuned in Hawaii by Chris Black from AMS. I previously made 314whp on pump gas from a tuner on island. Chris came and and extracted 350whp. I could feel a good response throughout the powerband. I have heard that kelford 272 cam are the way to go. Multiple companys have put their name out there and AMS did a cam shoot out and kelford was #1. GSC came in at 2nd followed by HKS. I have stock cams and when i put them in they sounded like stock cams. hopefully these numbers will help you.
