First check out all the vac lines onto the boost controller , boost source and Wga and do the same with the Bov .

why did you post a video of a car that is not yours? mountainturbo posted that same video in my wastegate flutter thread. that video shows wastegate flutter. that is not compressor suge.

if that was compressor surge, it would not climb rpms like that.

You can hear the BOV fluttering. I highly doubt it's the wastegate because you can clearly hear air leaking from the BOV.

What BOV/BPV do you have? EDIT: Nevermind. The SSQV is the biggest peice of garbage ever. It's "going from 27 to 20" because it wasn't designed to hold more than 1.5 BAR (22PSI).

The "Racing" SSQV is supposed to hold 2bar (29PSI) but I wouldn't expect it to sustain that performance for long. You also might have a chinese SSQV.

Buy a proper recirculated BPV because you have stock ECU, get a retune and treat your car right.

ya id say bov also.. if that was compressor surge his turbo would be most likely gone by now if he was driving it like that for a while.

going through the gears like that with it doing that is......

agreed! I have been having something like "compressor surge" happen, and it is NOT like that at all.. it happens in 4th gear WOT at lower RPM's (3500-4000) and it will make the whole car shake and hesitate, shift later and theres no problem. And no, I don't try to drive through it LOL because you couldn't...

I also can hear some BOV flutter in that video..

do you guys not read?
1. thats not the op's video. a guy in a thread i started ("WG flutter") posted that showing his wastegate flutter.

2. that is not the bov and not compressor surge. It is his wastegate fluttering. If his bov was opening, it would not pull smooth like in the video. also, if it was compressor surge, it would not pull like it does.

3. It has been covered in my thread. Due to the way its been tuned running a grimmspeed 3 port, the WG opens and closes really fast causing that sound coming out of his dump pipe.
Alot of people that run the grimmspeed have flutter. I do.

4.I dont know why the op is posting a video thats not him?? specially since thats not even close to the problem he claims to have.

didn't see your post - but on another note a car wont just stop "climbing rpm" when it sees compressor surge.. it will keep pulling. if you're stupid enough to stay in it thats on you. i can create this easily in 4th gear at low rpm by hitting it.. once 25 or so psi is produced the surging starts. yes it is a mix from the bov and turbo.. to much air is trying to force its way into the intake manifold on normal compressor surge and the engine chokes on it, cant take it and spits it back out.. bov activates and relieves some of it, then the rest goes down to the turbo and spins turbo opposite way.. depending how bad, can destroy turbo pretty quickly. Cant be produced on a stock turbo, but FP red and black will do it. (or any big turbo for that matter)

I hope you fixed your car, cause a properly setup grimspeed doesnt do that.

And Sorry, I didnt see your post above explaining it was your video. the OP made it sound like it was his video.

if your stupid enough to think i ever said it would stop "climbing rpm" then maybe you should stick to reading on this forum instead of posting. i said it wouldnt pull clean like in the video.

jesus...seems like every thread you post in has bad information. cant believe you are a tuner and have all this bad info. cant tell you how many times someone has corrected you at least i know who NOT to contact for a tune

my cars not broken. my **** still flutters. but nothing wrong with my setup...holds 30psi strong and pulls like a mother. my next tune will get rid of it so no worries there.
