Updates >>> Some progress in the right direction!! The motor has been mated to the gearbox and put back in the bay. Pretty exciting for me, have not been able to work on it for ages due to work commitments. Hopefully I will have it rolling again in around 3-4 weeks.

Here is how the motor and gearbox is looking now, all nice and clean.

Competition Clutch twin plate all in place ready to cop some serious abuse!

How she is sitting now!

Head gasket used is a OEM Mitsu Item

Car is finally back rolling!!!! Pretty excited to see it back on four wheels after sitting on jackstands since December! Next thing to do is fill all driveline components with oil again. Need to find sometime to start working on the custom exhaust manifold soon so that the turbo and radiator etc can go in.

Coming along good so far. I love the EVO VI as well, such compact little rocket cars.

Had an awesome days work on it today. Finally things came together after collecting parts for a while.

Due to manifold moving turbo out 20mm, we modified the front pipe and added some extra pipe in. Radiator still fits in front of turbo.

Thanks mate. Hopefully it will move along a little quicker now too. Been almost a year now since she was taken off the road. Eventually I would like to get to WTAC too. Definitely need some practice before hand though.

It will be street legal, can't not have it on the road!

FInally have a decent update.

All cooler piping is now complete and all the engine wiring is on and tucked as much as possible. It was not too bad of a job, but it is not something I would be doing again anytime soon either.

BOV is now in position too. I have nearly all the fuel system parts not too. It will consist of a 2.5L surge tank, two bosh 044 pumps, FPR and a fuel cooler on the return path back to the surge tank.

Next week some of the custom parts made up will be picked up from being laser cut. These include custom fixed seat rails made for myself and my car. Hopefully they will be correct and the interior can really start to take shape again. A few more bits will be drafted up this week and then cut.
