evo 8 build
evo 8 build
Hey guys I'm new to the evo/ dsm builds but I am doing a build on my 4g64 stroker because I spun a bearing so I'm buying all my stuff mainly off map and I am looking at rods what will fit my motor best looking to make 600+ I was looking at the crower or manley? Then pistons have to bored out after being measured I came up with 87.0458 which means I should be able to stick with an 87 mm bore and the only thing I found on there were wiseco 1400 hd pistons just trying to get opinions/ reviews and help before I buy all this stuff ! Thank you

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD, PLEASE USE A PERIOD ONCE AND A WHILE...lol.
Wiseco's are a good piston and the 1400HD's have gotten pretty good reviews. IMO the manley rods would be a better choise...but thats just a personal opinion. What price range are you looking at for your rods?? the Carrilo H beams are about as light as they come, and would handle that power level. Or you could go with a Maniley "I" beams which are a little more cost effective (unless you go with the 300m's).

Money is an option but not much trying to do the build around 3000.. double period. Lol just trying to figure out what rods and pistons to go with and getting this all bought.
