I'll be running a 10:1 2.0L motor in a couple weeks, I don't think its a problem...if you have a good tuner the 10:1 is better of course IMO

93 on 10:1 is totally fine! I'm going to try a 92 oct tune on my car next week. I'm not sure if anyone has done it but I'm going to pop the question.

Definitely let me know what you make, I want to see the difference between the 2.4 and the 2.0 on pump.

It is a lot from my experience. The 2.4 with the larger bore can take more timing safely without knocking and with the 2.4 flowing 20% more air than a 2.0 it will handle boost better.

If you want to get technical, Aaron's 29psi on the 2.4 is about the same as a 2.0 running 33-34psi on a 2.0 and that won't happen on 92. If Aaron was on 93 he could have ran 30-31psi and made another 20+hp.

I'm running stock axles with 700hp and Aaron runs 800hp on stock axles. Not really a problem right now.

Nope! Stock 5 speed, stock axles, stock dif, stock tc etc... All stock. I have only launched my car 10 times but still if you don't launch your car everything will hold the power

yea i don't launch..as long as all the power i need is there there is no reason to launch imo. i was going to go with a triple plate but i started reading on it and heard that it puts to much stress on the trans and will hurt the trans over time. how long have u been running yours on your trans?

I have been running it since June... Not any problems yet. I have not really heard of it destroying your tranny. I know if you launch you will The triple will wear out before they tranny. I really do like Twins better however, for my power I had no choice. You might want to look into the new QM Twin

650-700tq I believe. I will have to double check. I don't think it is as high as a Exedy Triple.

I'm really looking forward to my "big block" build with the high comp. pistons. I don't think I'm going to run the car too hard on pump though. Off topic, but Mikey do you have a fpr with your 1450cc inj?

No I don't. The new style FIC 1450s are great and idle like stock. My base pressure is stock, only thing is I have two fuel pumps. The second has a boost activated switch. I will be doing dual in-tank pumps soon. The inline Walbro kinda scares me...
