Will the RMR 3 inch exhaust with 3inch downpipe and testpipe cause my CEL to come on?

 

Yes, unless you have some sort of simulator to trick the 02 sensor. The only pipe i have heard of that doesn't need it is Ultimate Racing or perrin includes a simulator ( that i heard doesn't really work either)

 

Yes, if you want to run a test pipe on any exhaust system you will need an O2 simulator to eliminate the cell. I have the full RMR exhaust and ran the test pipe for a while, I now have a hi flow cat(Random Technology). Better sound IMO, minimal power loss, and more enviromentally friendly.

 

what is a cheap high flow cat i can use with the RMR downpipe and cat bac exhaust.

 

RMR has a high-flow cat, too. Check on their racing parts section...

 

With all things being equal. Did turbo back exhaust give you guys a significant power gain?

Hell yes - turboback is one of the best things you can do... No joke.

no pricing listing and from experience its probably more expensive then another vendor which makes no sense. I bought their exhaust for 570 www.lancershop.com on the RMR site it is 599 i emailed them asking if they would match it. They said no so i bought it at lancershop.com. I was just wondering if i can use the any 3inch high flow cat with this exhaust.

 

The reason their price is higher is to help out their distributors (ie the vendors). Not a bad deal...
