JAM Stage 2 head
Anyone have any experience? Curious what RPM you can safely spin up to with these... Doing a build BR 2.3/kelford 272's/HTA35R/running E85. Any input on this setup?

The only difference really is Buschur uses its own valve springs while JAM uses supertech dual springs, which I havent heard anything bad about. BR does O-ring the chambers but doesnt come with bronze valve guides. I was going to go with the BR stage 3 but I found a great deal on a freshly done JAM head.... I dont forsee a problem with JAM head for my application, not trying to put down 800HP or anything.
i have a jam 2.3 and Jam head. I regularly spin the motor to 8k, and have taken it to 8.5k a few times in order to avoid having to shift on the road course
my JAM motor has over 20k miles of HARD driving on it and it has performed flawlessly. Cant go wrong

This is great to know since my block is over there right now (JAM). How did you break in your motor?
After reading some of the comments about JAM I would avoid them at this point. Seems to be a common trend going on between the guys posting about them and the screwups they are handing out. Just my .02
This one seems to have let the cat out of the bag.

my motor has a bazillion autocrosses on it and a bunch of trackdays, plus an extraordinary amount of tuning on it as I used to have free access to a dyno. it runs very well.
I just read the nightmare thread, and it seems like there were mistakes made on both sides. I feel bad for that guy.

Yeah very unfortunate, but you cant base a decision on one persons situation. JAM has been around for some time and they have had thousands of satisfied customers. I am sure if I searched I could find someone who had something bad to say about BR or AMS, or any other shop for that matter. Granted was a terrible situation which I believe was handled poorly, but thats only one side of the story...
I was reading into it and seeing that there was more than one member sharing their issues and that they all seemed to be handled "poorly" so I wasn't throwing out there for the "one persons" perspective.
Hope that thing works out for you.

Yes thank you I have heard that one already, the question was not should I buy a BR head or a JAM head, it was will the JAM head be able to run the set-up.... looking for a ~550-600AWHP street car.
