Do I need a 4" intake pipe for the HTA Green?

Or can I stick with my current HKS pipe (which I believe is 3")? Would it become a restriction? Would suck to have to upgrade to a 4" because it seems like most 4" intakes are either meant for a speedy density setup and are not metal...

Message John Bradley, you will see gains over a 3", 3.25" or 3.5" using a 4" SD intake.

Yeah I was going to say that if he is still on MAF then the FP intake is prob the best bet.

Running 4" intake pipe and filter sounds like the turbo is more alive....esp on SD.

Im looking at swapping my GruppeM Filter + Box, MAF and FP Intake pipe to a custom 4" piece with custom aluminium box, as im going to SD.

Hopefully I see some gains over my current setup!

Tsc, u have the fp intake on SD or still using a maf? Wasn't clear by your post. How do I attach a filter to the fp 84mm tube without a maf?
