i recently bought a twin disc clutch used and it has the new disk to go with it. How can i tell if i need to replace the intermediate plate with it as well? thanks or what should it measure and still be good. thanks again

 

If your talking about the floater disks? your suppose to replace everything when putting new discs and resurface the flywheel.

Any local Machine shop can resurface your flywheel

 

seldom do the intermediate pressure plates need to be binned. it's the top plate that warps.
they can machine the intermediate pressure plate flat, and mill off the posts to keep install height correct.

Then you only need top pressure plate, and 2x clutch discs.
And like 1NastyMR said, make sure you machine the flywheel. (posts will need to be milled down for this too, to get the correct clamping loads).
