Clutch Help

Have had my car for about 2 1/2 months now, the first week I had it I blew the clutch. Replaced it oem, now I have had it happen again.

Looking around for a new one and thinking of going aftermarket.

Been looking around the forum trying to get a little insight on my options. Still indecisive. Was hoping to get some feed back on the situation. Also when I replaced to clutch the first time should I have also changed the clutch lines as well?

If your under about 450whp id go with an ACT street clutch, and anything over or if you ever want to go bigger with your car id say get an exedy twin disc. And no the only reason people change the clutch line to a stainless steel usually is to get rid of the "squishy" feeling that the stock rubber line makes in the clutch pedal feel.

I'm not trying to insult driving but is it something you're doing that is wearing the clutch out so quickly? Launching, autocross, drag racing etc? Stuff like that and any mods you have can help you decide what clutch is best.

That is ok. Yes, its all of that well besides the autocross. As mods go full exhaust and icp. So nothing really.

And it dose not help that this is my own first standard car iv owned. The first time I replaced it, it was from me riding it.

The exedy is rebuildable, prob around $858 in part each time, two discs and a floater. That is unless you need a flywheel surface or messed up the pressure plate side.

I like my ACT, but a lot of people like the Twin. I just can't bare the howl since I would be driving it everyday and some stop and go.
