Help! Rear Main Seal leaking!

Ok so after I got my tranny replaced my rear main seal is leaking. So my first thoughts were that the seal was just reinstalled wrong. Butttttt iv done some research and found out a rear main seal can go bad with excess crank case pressure. My car is about 700hp and runs at about 35-40psi and I dont have a catch can. Could a oil catch can cure cc pressure? Also I have no idea if this is also related but my head kept lifting and blowing the freeze plugs. My radiator also cracked during this time. Are all these problems related or are these just common problems with a high hp evo? Anything helps thanks!

It may have been damaged when installing the tranny

Just put a crank case vacuum pump on it and call it good.

crank case pressure can certainly help blow out a rear main seal. Installing a catch can will not stop the leak. The seal needs to get replaced. It will help it from blowing out the one you need to install in the future. You blowing out the radiator and lifting the head are typically not related because the oil and coolant are not together. They each have their own places in the engine.

If I were you I would replace the rear main seal and make sure its installed properly and before you start the car for the first time get something to control crank case pressures.

Actually lifting the head often causes over pressurization of the coolant system and oiling system.

When the head lifts those separations that you speak of are no longer separate, because the head gasket keeps them separated.

I lifted my head and it shot out a freeze plug off the water pump.

Don't give advice from your butthole because it stinks.

Lifting the head and blowing out the radiator are 100% related. The job of the HG is to keep combustion pressure from getting out of the cylinder and into places it can do damage, like the cooling system. Putting a crankcase vacuum pump on would probably help stop the main seals from leaking, but I'd be worried about why you're getting so much blow-by, unless the engine is put together really loose, in which case, I'm talking out of my ***. Do you have a problem with the dipstick popping out?
