RMR DOES make a 3" cat - you have to look under their racing products on the website.

Go with quantum racing...I've had good customer service with them and they offer pretty good prices. Talk to Marc or Brian, they're nice.

You can buy my RMR exhaust for half of retail it has an extra resonator on it to quiet it down a little as well...reason im selling it...my car is way too loud with all the mods i have done on it and im gonna need a custom exhaust to make it even remotely liveable ( I have a fully built motor and its just too loud with this off the shelf exhaust)

If you guys go to RMR's website, they have audio clips of the exhaust there.

I've had the RMR exhaust since April and I love it. The ONLY drawback (and I noticed it during my marathon drive cross-country) was that it drones at high speed. Of course, I just turned up the radio a little. No big deal. It sounds awesome on full-song. If you log onto DCEvoClub.com, they have a video gallery and you can hear my car during an autocross.

Pesto (John) - the best quiet exhaust I've heard (and driven) was the Ralliart. It's expensive, but it sounds great and isn't much louder than stock.

I think to smaller pipes will, 2.5 or so. You will need to get a good 1 into 2 collector. Stubby is not as good. you can have a good exh shop make you 1. Just be sure to have adequet area where the 1 pipe feeds into the 2 pipes. No, I havent done this, but with plenty of dyno testing at work, when reducing tail pipe or secondary pipe diameter after the collector always reduced exhaust note. No, I cant tell you how many db less, but its definetly noticable.
