It might rid of the heat faster once the car is off, but it also gets hot faster than steel. Steel is a much thicker material when being used for tubing in most cases. Allowing the air inside the pipes to absorb the heat faster, on say a sprint or a 1/4 mile race.

I would say the heat factor itself is minimal and does not overpower the other downfalls of aluminum piping.

Just my take...
So does that mean it soaks heat faster if the engine bay temps are hotter then the cold side piping? Pretty sure it doesn't work just one way. Wouldn't ideal situation be aluminum on cold side and stainless on hot side? but then we have the durability issue and with the hot side on the bottom.. stainless is able to provide better support and longevity for the customer due to the elements. One thing I tell my self everyday is these are daily drivers not full blown track cars.

Thanks,

Michael
