I've been advised to use SpeedMaster 10w40, or Mobil 10w40...

It really depends on what you are doing with the car, I've run Mobil1 in the car for 8 years and 130k miles, still on stock block and turbo. Mostly daily street driven miles, but I track my car often. I have switched to Amsoil recently since it is a dedicated track car now.
