Evo4 with evo8 engine has very strange engine work

engine is from evo8 - working very unstable - seen on the video.

I though at first that are forking only 3 of 4 cylinders but are working all. acceleration is ok - unstable work is only when standing on idle. when driving - goes ok.

what could be the possible problem? MAF? o2 sensor? could be some kind of idle valve (if evo has one)? or could be some serious problem?

I know that diagnostics could tell the problem but i need to know at least guesses for now.

Thank you!

hard to tell from the video since im on my laptop and it doesnt have the best speakers. If you are not running on 4 cylinders and you cant scan it you need to do a balance test to discover which cylinder is down and then further diagnose if its ignition, fuel or compression causing the down cylinder.

What kind of ecu and what has been done to this? not really getting enough to do anything for you with the info you gave.

i see. in any case i bought the car i was talking about. all cylinders work as car goes fine. just when idle engine works strange. i was told that it has hks camshafts and some kind of tuned crankshaft so some people say that possible that's the reason.

anyway - god evo4 - will the one and only evo4 on the road in my city.

Looks like you´ve got some aggressive cams or a bad tune.

finally got car from dealer's check - throttle position sensor. that's causes such idles, check engine some times and ayc lamp to be on.

question - this part is absolutely same for evo4-9?
part factory number: MD614772

Thank you
