shep trans down shift problems, need opinions?

did you damage the ACT clutch at all during install? to me i would look at the components that are used first, then look at a tans defect. Although to inspect the clutch you would have to pull the trans anyway.

Looks like you may have to go back in and pull the trans......

good suggestion, but i never touched the clutch or pressure plate but even if something was damaged pertaining to the clutch system, i would assume i would have issues up-shifting as well and not just downshift in 2 gears?

I can't think of anything but the clutch/flywheel/etc. that would cause a problem with the engine on at a stop but not with the engine off. But I also can't see how the clutch could affect only shifting one way into a couple gears.
