Cam Advice Needed

I am just wanting to get some personal opinions on what cams to go with on my set-up. First I'll give some specs. My current set up made 615HP and 525TQ at 34PSI on FP Black. The motor is all Manley turbo tough 2.2LR 10.5:1 Compression. Head, intake and exhaust are all ported. head has 1mm oversize valves with dual springs. any specs you may need i did not include please ask. Currently I have HKS 272's and I think I can get some good power by swapping these out. I was looking at the STM 650. Has anyone ran these? thanks

many on here would say that basically any other cam is better than those hks 272. you can try Kelford 272 or 280 or GSC S2 or S3. Those would probably make the most power.

It seems you're a good candidate for the STM 650. You have the head set up already and at the HP they recommend. Just check for valve clearance.

Are you up in FOCO or the Springs? I'm up in FOCO and haven't seen a 600+hp Evo up there. Probably a good thing since I get pulled over all the time in my 330 hp Evo

And you wont find specs for the STM 650's. It is their own grind and they wont release specs. Don't blame them though....

Same with the BF272 cams, and RT276KK's.

Any of those three (STM 650, BF272, RT276KK) would be good choices to let your engine breathe as if it did not have asthma.

Yeah I am sure these HKS 272 are really holding me back and would love to see some better power out of this FP Black, I know it can be done...Makes it more difficult at this altitude

Check our youtube page. Youtube.com/stmtuned. You will find a few videos of Ricer. They have been in that car for about two years now.
