Anyone running the JM Fabrications Tubular Exhaust Manifold?

I am looking to get a tubular mani for the stock frame turbo (FP Black) what is the best out there, I really like the JMF piece but before I commit I would like to get suggestions on what options are out there. Thanks!

Wow that is a nice piece as well. Still leaning toward the JMF because they offered me a smoking deal on their mani

I have the JMF manifold, and would recommend it. The fit and finish is very good. If you get it, I would also recommend that you mill a slot in the the turbo mounting stud hole on the passenger side, closest to the cylinder head. You can then use bolts in the three remaining holes. Doing this will allow you to remove the exhaust manifold without removing the entire turbo at the same time.

I mentioned this to JMF some time ago, but I don't know if they decided to implement the change. You might ask them about it. Hope this helps.

I have one. Good piece of kit. Was a biatch to heat wrap. Well made, excellent welds and good merge collector design, not to mention the CNC flange. I think the FiD has a better merge collector (narrow angle), but as far as Evo manifolds go, I don't think you can go wrong with Full-Race, JMF, FiD or Toxicfab. I think the difference between them is just splitting hairs, so go with the best price/warranty you can find.

I'm about to upgrade my turbo to a BBK and am making other mods at the same time like o2 housing, downpipe, and 3 port solenoid. Do you think I should do the exhaust manifold as well? Will I gain much more of a difference if I do? Or is it something I can buy later on without having to retune? I appreciate any advice. Thanks!

you could probably put it on later without having to retune, however you will not be taking full advantage of the manifold if you dont at least get the tune touched up. as far as manifolds i was offered a smoking price for the JMF mani but i am sold with the craftsmanship of toxicfab, they are unmatched!
