cusco carbon clutch

I love this clutch. I have it on my car over 1k miles now.
I did the proper break in period. ( 350 miles )
so far I have been doing drag launches at the track, street, wherever I can race it. The clutch still feels like new and because of the flywheel being lighter than the stock, the response are quicker and revving the car to 7k are wayyyyy faster. I totally abused this clutch and there is no smell of burning whatsoever!
I recommend everyone to save their money and do it right or don't do it at all!!!! CUSCO carbon baby!

Very good to here. Do you hear any different noises or stress on the drivetrain when you are dumping the clutch? That is my only worry about upgrading the holding force of the clutch. Thanks for your relply.

We're using the Cusco clutch as well on our shop car. Very impressive unit. The plates rattle a bit when the clutch is depressed. But when engaged, everything is quiet and smooth. Engagement is also nice but does take a bit getting used to as it is quick. But so are all clutches when are capable of holding big torque. However, pedal effort is nearly stock-like which is a nice surprise.

Cheers,
shiv

Sorry if these answers can be easily found somewhere else but where did you get it, how much did it cost and did you install yourself?

We sell it, it's $1400, install takes 4-6 hours or thereabouts.

thats the beauty of twice the friction material...means you don't need a pressure plate with gorilla like clamp load (which means a stiff pedal).

So does anyone know (if any) differences between Cusco and just the regular Exedy twin, other than carbon, is that setup better.

The Cusco has a slightly different center section (where the TO bearing installs to) vs Exedy...I can pull one from the box, but as I recall, the Cusco was spring loaded, whereas the std. Exedy was not.
