Maximum power with stock-like drivability?

this is a tough question to answer because many factors affect off boost performance. my evo happily lugs around all day when off boost at 2000-2500 rpm. passing or accelerating like a typical car only requires a bit of throttle. if i want to rip on it, downshifting one gear gives me 400 ft-lbs of torque. bbk full with most all the supporting mods and e85.

I lumber around 2500-3000rpm, but boost really lags until I'm at 3600+rpm. Until them it makes me feel like I'm driving a UPS Truck!! That early spoolin 9 kept me happy until the mod bug hit me and then it was........what next!!!!!! But your absolutely correct Boost is only one downshift away!!
