questions about bov before i get one

i wanna get one but then my friend said dont get it because the recirculation kit will kill the pssh sound so theres no point of getting one, is that true?

The question is, why do you think you need one?? do you have an open element air filter? and are you running higher boost than stock?

ok on my eclipse i have a GReddy type s and it was recir, i made it vta and i couldnt tell a diff. both ways where freaking loud!!! i dont have a capture device on my computer or i would upload a vid of both, ill try though
