Will BPR7ES fit, EVO 8 ? i was wondering because i got brand new spark plugs from previous Turbo Eclipse :-) also what brand are on stock evo??

 

Yes they will fit, They are a very popular DSM plug becuase they are slightly colder but the evo comes stock with iridumn plugs. I have a set of the BRP7ES plugs and when I had them in I noticed a little less power so I took them back out so you honestly give up a little power for lower egt temps and lower knock counts. They work great I just didn't like the power loss. Other people have bought denso plugs with a colder tip and had better results but this is a very opinionated subject so you should try them and see what you think.

 

There have been several threads on plugs for the Evo. Most users seem to agree that the stock iridium plugs perform much better than copper or platinum. If you have a highly modded car, sometimes one range colder or a narrower plug gap helps.
