whats the torque spec for L19 headstuds?

whats the torque spec for L19 headstuds?

yes is searched anybody know the torque spec for l19 headstuds? i didnt get the box back from machine shop. any help would be great. i know the torque pattern ect just need to what there spec is. thanks

it varys per your block / head design.. 90tq on my car would lift the head in a heart beat lol.

is the head/block oringed?

no not oringed. i have read people going as high as 125. my old apr head studs went to 95lbs. was lifting head @ 85lbs. was thinking do 90lbs then do a leak down test.

go minimum 105 and work your way up.. remember to recheck the tq after around 500 miles and redo the leakdown to confirm.

I do 90-100-110 in steps working my way up it holds 40 psi just fine on a t3 turbo

anywhere from 100 to 115, depends on power levels.
please note that tightening things to that level will distort your engine, so make sure that is accounted for when it's machined.

We torque l19 and standard to the same amount.. The sequence you use to get the final # is as important as the final #.. I see some scary replies in here.. As always what works for one person may not work for the other..

for a 2 liter 35 ish psi what is the normal tq spec for the regular ARP's .

If anyone in here is not using a torque wrench with a recent calibration and/or using the wrench as a ratchet to break stuff loose etc, you're wrong even before you start.

but not as funny as the fact that people probably do use torque wrenches as breaker bars ha ahahahaahahaaaa
