To each there own basically, in my experience swapping a popped oem radiator hose to an aftermarket hose, my clamp was loosing tension and thus small amounts of coolant would leak periodically and i did try and adjust them a few different times before saying screw the stock clamps, went worm style and havent looked back. So everyone will have a different opinion, on what works for them. Id say replace them 8.00 or so for 4 is small piece of mind when doing a radiator hose change, last thing you wanna worry about is the clamp losing tension. But hey I ride out the broken gas door clip, so were all cheap in our own ways haha
