FP race outlet IX turbo

just purchased a fp race outlet and this thing is a good 4" longer then the oem one. i was wondering what i have to do to my existing LICP to get it to fit properly. i have a turbo xs 3.5" front mount and pipes. the lower is similar to the ets v2 in that it uses the same coupler that attaches to the j pipe.

Cut off the extra length and then have the end bead rolled.

Its a bigger diameter "j pipe" off the compressor cover....it replaces the semi rectrictive stock unit "the black pipe"

This...

I have the same lower pipe with a FP race pipe, I think I had to trim about 3-4" off the lower pipe then just bought a coupler to tie them together.

The FP race pipe is a bigger diameter, if you have time port out the compressor housing to match it.
