With a forged piston they are unnecessary. Only needed with cast pistons, that is why they are there oem. You will also have a little bit more oil pressure at the main/rod bearings which is more important than cooling a piston imo.

 

Just remove them I always do it's a no brainer !

im gunna remove them.... but is there a block off kit i can buy? what should i i use to block it off

 

should i use a bolt? lock tite? ect what do people use to block off oil squiirters? thanks
