I have an evo 8 gsr and I'm getting the 5th gear grind only if shifting from 7k 4th gear into 5th quickly.

I'm pulling my tranny wednesday to install a clutch should I get it rebuilt or leave it?


Btw the most I plan to make with this car is 400awhp

You cant do fast shifts into 5th, you kill the syncros. If its grinding, rebuild it

If you are going throught the trouble of pulling it rebuild it. Silly not to if u have it out
