FP Ball Bearing Reviews

Not sure if I'm not searching right but I can't seem to find too many owner reviews of the FP bb setups outside of initial testing by shops - everyone out there running them well? No issues etc?

I guess for forums quiet is better than bunch of posts about failures going on.

Please post!

Well I just ordered one because it came highly recommended. Won't be able to check it out until I leave the desert. Luckily that is sooner than later. I will post back when I know.

Ive had all three, BB Black first, no issues, too much power for my car!

BB Green, Outstanding street turbo massive low end TQ, great powerband, no issues.

BB Red, now on my car, for me it's just right, no real lag to speak of and plenty of top end, great shift recovery, no issues.

Let's not forget this is assisted greatly by that 2.3 RPM! Kyoo, your results may vary but accurate enough to get the idea.

I've been very curious about this to. Since they have gone to the new ball bearing version I haven't heard anything as far as failures. I read all the threads in the dyno area on them and see nothing but great things ( except the price ).

Curt, do you happen to have an overlay of the BB Red vs the BB Green dyno plots? Also, what is the difference spoolwise between these two FP turbos on your particular car?
