New clutch

I recently went to a shop to have my Quartermaster 8 leg clutch put in. I have had it back for 3 weeks and have put 700 miles on it. I now cannot get it into 6th and if I try to drop the clutch almost all the power goes to the front wheels? Any advice would be apreciated.

The fluid levels were dead on, so I called the shop to ask if they had reset the ACD after putting the clutch in and the guy said it didnt need to be done? The closest dealer is 300 miles away said to have it towed there! Is this some thing that can be done without the dealer?

Make sure the pedal is adjusted correctly, make sure your fluids are set at the proper levels, and that they USED the correct fluids.

How many miles? And if this wasn't a problem before the new clutch... I'd drop it back off at the shop that did it.

^^^ THIS is why I do all my own work, and don't let dumb**** shops touch my car.

Just cause they topped the fluid back off doesn't mean they bled the ACD system to get any air out of it. It needs to be bled by holding the gas pedal to the floor and and turning the ignition on till the ACD pumps kicks on while someone underneath has the bleeder valve on the bottom of the t-case open. As far as the 6th gear lockout goes, no idea?
