Random misfire code p0300 help

Ok so I have had this happen in the past but more intermitten. I clear it and its gone for a few months Well after a head rebuild only thing that changed were the valves not size just brand I throw this code every day. I clear it and it comes back. Car drives fine. Did it with new and older plugs. I havent changed anything other than the head rebuild. I know with Mivec and cams this code isnt uncommon but ot is daily at this point. Anyone have any thoughts? insight?

I had that code intermittedly after I had my GSC stage II cams installed. I mentioned it to my tuner, he retuned it, and the code hasn't come up since.

Yah Thats what I figured. I will have to look at my tune and see if I can turn it off or make some adjustments. Wasnt sure if it was something else since I have had the same cams on my car for 3 years

I have the same issue on my IX with GSC2 cams as well. Have yet to get the code "tuned out".

Did you change the off idle timing just prior to it happening?
