I just dropped the motor of my evo and upon doing that, I had broke that cam sensor by accident so I got a used one locally and it started up and runs but then randomly while driving, it will start to hesitate a little and then after a few minutes of hesitation it will completely lose power. Then it doesnt start back up but if I let it sit it will start up fine and the cycle starts over again.

The fuel pump is always working so I know its not that. But when I checked for spark when trying to start it would spark once or twice then nothing. After a while of sitting it will startup. The wierd thing tho is that when it starts hesitiating when driving, I pull over and unplug the cam sensor and it stops hesitating and will run fine for as long as its left running. I tried 2 sensors from the parts store and they worked fine for a while and then the engine dies and it wont start up anymore with the aftermarket sensors?

I dont know if I should buy an oem one or could it be something else other than the cam sensor. ALso, I just replaced the crank sensor in september.
