Evo turbo upgrade kit

Hi there, just wondering if my stock internals would be able to handle this kit? Ive got an 04 Evo 8 MR and if so how much power do you think this would put out? It features a kinugawa T67-25G turbo and tial 44mm wastgate with a racing manifold. the link is below for further info.

Cheers!

Your internals should be able to handle this with no problem, however i don't think you should spend all that money into it,Kinugawa offers a stock replacement turbo with the same specs that's a drop in fit and you're able to keep the twin scroll feature for better spool, a few people have had great results with it already including myself,i think that's a better option unless you have an eager desire to shell out the big bucks

Ive had a look into the replacement turbo, the td06 bolt on? Its about $1600.00 and for $700.00 more I can get the racing manifold and tial wastegate . What power gains did you get out of the replacement turbo? Do you think the T67 will be laggy?

Cheers

What website is that? $1,600 sounds way up there,i posted the link they have for $840.00,i put down 440@wheels on 93 at 29-30 psi,i could have gotten more out of it with more time tuning,i got full boost by 4,200 rpms, only slightly worse than my old Evo 9 turbo. If you buy it from their Ebay store you can get the one with the evo9 conversion kit if you need that.

The website is www.drivenperformance.co.nz. Are you talking hp at the wheels or kilowatts? Here in new zealand we run 98 fuel so should be better but is it safe to run that much psi on a stock engine?

Yes sir HP.The stock engine can handle it no problem, with good tuning you should be able to run that much boost without any issues,i was running 32 psi on 93 on a stock evo 9 turbo for like a year before i switched to the 25G without any problems.
