I have a ticking noise it starts out at about 2000rpm fades at about 3000(or at least it cant be heard as much).It makes noise both when in gear and In neutral.I checked rod bearings everything is good no shavings in oil etc.I leaning towards a colapsed lifter.Any input is appreciated.

A lot of evo's have noisy lifters. Mine does it sometimes.
