Hey hey everybody im trying to figure out what this noise is:


It appears to be coming from the driver's side, almost under the seat. It has a 2nd AMS Fuel line ran under the seat and the sound it makes is almost identical to the sound it used to make while gathering extra fuel for ignition. Now a lot of the times I don't even hear the initial kick on when I put the key in and it makes the whiny sound constantly when the car is on. Any ideas?

 

Sounds like the fuel pump....but not sure why its coming from under your seat...do you hear it near the rear of the car from the outside?

I say fuel pump from just watching the vid... BUT I'm just guessing.

 

ugh thats the hard part. I wanna say it comes from closer to the rear of the car but it's so hard to tell. Only thing I know for sure is it's coming from the drivers side

Definitely a fuel pump sound. Pull you back seat out and I bet it gets louder.

 

Hmm don't suppose anyone could tell me if that's a malfunction sound or total replace sound lol. This is my fuel system if that helps
