FIC 1250cc Blue max(91/93 octane) any reviews ?
Hello guys,
i am upgrading my injectors from fic 850cc to bigger but still confused to go between FIC 1150 or 1250 cc blue max ones,
i will be running on 91 octane,just afraid of driveability issue as it's AutoX car.
whom have tried them and have good/bad feed back ?

Are you currently maxxing out the 850s? You can probably find some reviews in the ecuflash section of the forum. If you are strictly on pump gas it can sometimes be a bit tough to get the larger injectors to run just right, but in most cases it can be done. If you don't need 1200+ sized injectors I would suggest you look at FIC 1050s. These are probably a happy medium and I know they aren't horrible to get setup on pump gas.
i am currently at low 80% idc at 21-22 psi with stock engine with ported hta green and gsc s2.
now running 86mm 2.3l stroker,ported heasld,map rev 3,will be around 25-26 psi for pump,and around 30-33 psi with c16,
so not sure how it will work out.

I have fic bluemax 1250 and I hate them. I cant wait to go back to PTE. Tough to scale , misfires till the engine warms up and this problem never happened till I put in the FIC's . Poor drivability on off throttle is real jerking. Injectors are scaled as good as you can get them and had to do some maf smoothing to get them even better.

I just checked my folders and ive tuned over 40 sets of them also on other customer cars on both e85 and 91/92/93/94
you can say you scaled them in perfect all you want, but if they are doing what you said then your tunes way off or something else is affecting voltage to them mechanically.
what's your battery voltage at idle?

It ranges 12.9 to 13.3 at idle 1100 rpms
afr's bounce around 13.9 to 15.4 at idle
My LTFT low are 4.3%
My LTFT mid are 1.2%
STFT at idle hang around 2.3% to maybe -1.3%
WOT Pulls follow afr map close enough , say 1.1 afr off from fuel map compared to afr map logged
by all means if I am doing something wrong HELP lol. I am not a protuner , but ive done of my share of tuning street and dyno . Maybe 50 plus dsm's and evo's all ranges of mods. This is my first time playing with the fic 1250's
Also timing is dead on
no boost leaks
every sensor on the motor is brand new oem

those injectors in general do not misfire when warming up, and they do not bog or hesitate the car. i've owned them personally and ran them both on e85 and 93.
positive on both trims is not a good idea either. also you should understand that just because trims look good doesn't mean the tune is good and can't be improved. sometimes the trims don't tell the whole story.
So before blaming the injectors, id try to troubleshoot your setup further. look at the latency and go from there.
ill tell you its either a maf issue or a voltage issue and voltage is directly related to ipw and latency which will destroy the tune if either are not setup right.

I can only enter 1242 or 1291. and 1291 the car runs like crap. The car seems to love 1242 and this is on DSM reflashable ecu not a evo ecu. The Scaling is different from a evo ecu to dsm ecu is what Cedric from CeddyMODs had said. If I go lower with the scaling the richer it gets and WOT breaks up it gets to rich.
your issue is your scaling. needs to go way lower. in the high 900's / low 1k's and don't forget to set the maf values back to default.
