hey guys, need suggestions which diverter valve to get to hold 22-25 psi pressure with no leaks. don't want VTA any more, mostly thinking about fully recirculated or maby some hybrid type too that has adjustment for venting/diverting.
lower price is also important. currently thinking about stock metal dv or GFB stealh(deceptor) one but would like to hear any other suggestions too

 

I heard a Stock IX DV was pretty decent. You can get one for a reasonable price from a forum member I'm sure.

 

Stock IX, aps twin, synapse dv

 

+1 except the aps twin vent is no longer made. the cobb xle dv is a great alternative.

 

A regular IX DV has treated me pretty well for the most part. Holds 25psi no problem with minimal fluttering in 5th.

Other than that, I would personally go with a Synapse DV

 

Just Crush a ix dv and it will hold the boost you want to run.

 

is there any difference between 8MR, IX and X valves ? spring pressure or something

 

8 were plastic

 

WORKS DV, uses the factory piece but with a stronger spring in it.

 

My stock IX DV is holding 29psi just fine... and I probably will not replace it until I upgrade the turbo. So that's my recommendation...

is it safe to buy it used, or does the mileage matter ? are they tend to leak over time ? don't want to get leaky one
