Tial Q owners
Tial Q owners
Hey everyone,
So I am having some compressor surge with my Tial Q at under 5 psi. Is this normal with the bov? At higher boost is opens all the way. My vacuum at idle is -22 so I have the -11 psi spring in there. Would a lighter spring such as a 10psi work? I just don't want it to leak under boost. Running about 28psi. Any input is appreciated!

dont worry about it holding under boost, it will with pretty much whatever spring you toss in it. spring it just stiff enough that it stays shut at warm idle. a -10 should be more than stiff enough. also, make sure it has its own 1/4" i.d. or bigger vacuum line, no shared source.
it sounds like your spring may be too stiff - especially if you have upgraded cams. Which spring are you using? If youre in chandler and local to us we have all the different springs/colors in stock
Yeah I figured it might be that. Still on factory cams. Right now its the -11 psi spring and I am pulling -22 at idle.
