Exclamation Stupid question but lag in power??!!

Sometimes when I'm driving around town I can hear the turbo spooling but can't feel the "pull" at all from it, as If it's just spooling and I'm running on a 2.0 motor, every once in a rare blue moon a get a random misfire but I don't think that's it, I'm leaning towards some sort of major boost leak but as I check for that, any other suggestions guys?

and what are the conditions when you can make this happen. RPM, GEAR Throttle position etc.

While driving..... About 2500 Rpms and up til about 5k rpm or so and then I'll feel the pull it kicks in like it's been holding back, 2nd gear 3rd gear 4th doesn't matter,

Do u have a boost gauge and a wideband? If so look at ur boost gauge at WOT and same with wideband to see if ur running a lil lean or too rich. I'd also check the couplers too

Check for the leak. It is very important to look at your boost gauge and wideband when it's happening.

1st, get a boost gauge to see where your at. you can remove it if you want to.

if your going to sort it out blindly, replace plastic bov with metal evo9 bov & try a different oem ebc.
