The funny part is why the 45mm restrictor?
Making that power and spool on a bush bearing turbo with restrictor!
Looks like that turbo out performs a EFR in relation spool and power.

I don't like it when someone put out marketing material with pictures of "prototype" knowing full-well that the production parts are going to look completely different.
Did I read correctly that this is an Oil-Less(water cooled only) turbo?
And what the heck would you want a restrictor on a turbo for?

restrictors are usually for rally/class restrictions

unless the turbo bearings are made of unicorn farts, they are going to need some sort of lubrication. Water is not a good lubricator

I understand the class restrictions. Just not the part where you put a big turbo on the car and then try to "restrict" it.

They do make encapsulate cartridge that is oil-lubed but no need to circulate engine oil through it.

Some hillclimb stuff is 45mm, Rallycross, and some road racing. It has an oil drain in the picture so I am thinking they mean its watercooled in addition to oil fed journal bearing. An oil-less Holset would not last long at all.
