Springs and retainers

Just got a brand new set of kelford 272s. I want to get some springs and retainers to become new buddies with it. There's a lot to chose from, so I'd like to get some opinions. Thanks.

I actually did mine w/o the retainers, now a couple of my factory retainers cracked so def get the titanium retainers w/ aftermarket springs. Also, get some valve stem seals, again didn't do mine when I put in cams and they are leaking... lesson learned.

I was looking at the kigglys but I didn't see anything about retainers from them. Do they have the titanium retainers or would I have to go through someone else to pair up with the kiggly springs?

On the S2/S3 we recommend a beehive style spring over the dual spring set ups.

So if I wanted to fully upgrade my head what would I need, springs retainers kit. Valve guides. What about valve seats? A port and polish and a new intake manifol?

You're on the right track; spring/retainers, new intake and exhaust valves, a valve job, new seals, and new guides. Port and polish as you see needed. I rebuilt my head a few months ago, and basically bought everything off the GSC catalog. Needless to say, I like their stuff.
