2.0L build, need advise.

hi im doing a 2.0l build and need some advise from members.

first of all,im planning to get GRP aluminum rods, but i dont know what bearings i should choose with them, secondly what rod bolts would be best for them?

and what compression piston would be best for 93 oct with 30 psi boost?

i want GRP aluminum rods, but cant decide a piston, what is the best pistons i could buy?

thanks...

okay so i found these rods... http://www.extremepsi.com/store/prod...roductid=21527

the website says to use clevite 77 rod bearings and arp 8740 rod bolts, but cant i use arp 2000 rod bolts i think they are high end and better than arp 8740 right?

i have the cash ready i just need you guys to adress my questions so i can order the stuff, and please mention also what will be the best pistons to go with grp connecting rods..

Bearings: ACL or Cosworth, both are good.
Usually, aftermarket rods include quality aftermarket bolts, if not then get ARP bolts, I also recommend that you install ARP head studs.
Pistons: JE or CP or Wiesco, are all equally excellent & cost less than Japanese brands. Get stock or near stock compression 8.8 or 9.0.
You'd need to examine cylinders walls & level of wear to decide what piston bore to get.

thanks for your reply, so any bearing and rod bolt will fit basically, and not the one's only stated by the magnufacturer ?

if i get ARP 2000 rod bolts and acl race bearing will they work with GRP rods?

and secondly how do i examine cylinder walls and compression?

Are you building this engine yourself or are you having someone else build it?
