Fuel Injector Clinic SP Line with ASNU technology hits the mark

Hey guys, wanted to share some exciting news from Fuel Injector Clinic about our new SP Line of injectors. We sent the 1050cc version of this line over to English Racing for some testing and they posted some awesome results with hp gains everywhere on the dyno graph. You can check that thread out here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...orsepower.html

We have these injectors listed on our website for the Evo X here: http://fuelinjectorclinic.com/evo-x?product_id=2037

With many other applications to be added in the next few days, including the DSM and Evo 8/9 fitment and many others.

I'll also copy the release below that was originally posted on the Fuel Injector Clinic website here: http://fuelinjectorclinic.com/press-...-the-mark.html

Fuel Injector Clinic’s SP Line with ASNU’s propriety technology hits the mark with precisely controlled atomization

Now Available!! The Fuel Injector Clinic (FIC) SP Line—a winning combination performance injector with ASNU’s proprietary diffuser plate and Fuel Injector Clinic’s Data Match Technology.

This saturated, high impedance ball & seat Injector, which is compatible with all race fuels, offers:

• An advanced spray pattern, as a result of ASNU’s proprietary diffuser plate, for precisely controlled atomization

This more uniform dispersion of fuel droplets means a better fuel/air mixture that burns more completely for improved cold starts, idle and fuel consumption.

• FIC’s Data Match Technology, a performance injector industry innovation

This Data Match sheet, which customers receive with each injector set, provides the most complete flow matching and latency value information available in the industry. It features dynamic slope flow rates and individual latency deviation for each serial numbered injector within each set.

Big benefit! When FIC’s Data Match Technology information is correctly input into your ECU, the data will allow the ECU to dictate PRECISELY the right amount of fuel to combine with the air in your intake port to consistently achieve the correct AFR, which means you’ll get more complete combustion in your cylinder.

“Early testing of these injectors has shown great results,” said Jens von Holten head guy at Fuel Injector Clinic. “We have a lot of exciting new injector developments on the horizon, including the larger versions of the SP line from ASNU.”

Currently, Fuel Injector Clinic’s SP Line is available in sizes up to 1050cc.

Fuel Injector Clinic is the official distributor of ASNU Performance Injectors in North America.

does 'race fuel compatible' also refer to E85?

Ill be the first to post up this then....its fine for 1050 cc etc but what about 560-700 cc injector sizes for the mostly stock evo's with mild bolt ons? Are those sizes available and do they give better atomization than brand new OEM injectors ? Do they give decent gains and will they stay clean or cleaner over time then the OEM ?

Not being negative, just wanting to know so that I have options if i need to replace the OEM that are now 8 years old.

Thanks

Are there injectors that dont increase power? Or are you saying these 1050's make more power with the same tune on the same car on the older style 1050's?

go read the thread injectors that add horsepower. these injectors add more power on the exact same tune. ie; timing, boost. In part due to the spray pattern and better fuel atomization

That thread is for large injectors only. Starts with 850 and goes higher

OK so this answers the question if they feature the newly designed orifices and deliver the new style spray pattern.

It looks as if they require removal of the stock resistor pack, at least the text says that

Will wait patiently for Aaron or someone from fuel injector clinic to respond if they have been tested back to back on EVO 8 or 9 .

why do you want such a small injector? Might as well stay with the stock injectors

Tested back to back, yes they were in that thread. I guess I dont understand the question. A smaller low impedance is going to have very similar spray characteristics to the 850.

The car in question has a 35R so we didnt try anything smaller in our testing as that would have been fruitless. Really there is no need to do anything smaller than a 1050 as an upgrade in an Evo. Stock will support 375whp, anything after that needs larger injectors anyway so buy once and get some 1050SP. I can see about testing a smaller set in another car but testing them in the one I used for the testing is not possible.

What back to back test with this new style of injector did you hope to see?

Aaron

So, Aaron, if I am reading this right...the 1050cc nozzles will be fine for my VIII with a BBK-B on pump/meth? Also, the same size will be OK for my daughter's totally, stock X?
