which turbo td05 or td06?

Ok ill make it as short as i can.
i have a evo 8 mr, and i want a bit more response out of the car its getting a bit laggy.
im chasing a evo 9 turbo but hard to get over here in OZ under $700
I have also come across a evo 9 turbo with the td06/20g) upgrade for $850

Im just wanting to put in a boost controller, fuel pump and a flash tune, car already has full exhaust and Licp and full intake.

Should i go for a stock evo 9 turbo? or the 20g turbo?

any tips or advice would be great

thanks
