Hard pull in 1st gear, backfires now won't start

Hey guys I recently did a hard 1st gear pull in my Evo 8 and as it guy up in the higher rpm range it backfired very loud and just pretty much lost all power. I checked all my intercooler piping all was intact. Compression test showed good considering my starter is on its way out and wouldn't let me crank the car long. I logged it as I was starting it and showed 22 timing errors within 5 seconds. Checked the timing marks and everything was still dead on. Anybody got any ideas what could be the problem? Fuel pumps are both good and all the other small things I checked.

Have you tried resetting your ecu by unplugging the batter for a bit?

When you checked your timing marks, were they checked at the valve cover or down below at the crank too? Make sure you check ALL Timing marks...

Boost leak?

Nah I didn't try resetting the ecu I didn't figure it'd make any difference with me being on aem. I checked both the crank and timing gears

Turns out something hit my crank trigger plate and got my crank sensor as well. All that's fixed now but now Im dealing with my turbo damaged due to oil starvation from a hole in my line.
