Evo 8 Spark Plug Change

I recently changed the plugs in my 03 Evo 8 from NGK BPR7ES to NGK BPR8ES. Car runs and and shifts fine. But after i get to a stop it tries to stall out on me unless i give it some gas. any input why this is happening?

I dont think this is necessarily due to the change in spark plugs. Any reason why you decided to go with a colder plug?

I don't think it's from plugs, but I will ask what did you gap them at?

I read some threads that highly recommended the 8s for high boost(20+ psi) Its tuned for 26. This was the first time i changed the plugs. 7s were in it so Ill be getting some of those to put back in it. I was just curious what caused this. Whenever i stop it dips down to .5 gram, almost wanting to cut off,it does this 3 times then idles out fine.

did you disconnect the battery? sometimes mine runs like crap after that for maybe like 20 starts until the computer irons out a few minor things and relearns driving habits and such.

Hmmm, yeah I did disconnect. I'll let it go for a few days to see if that helps.
