ARP studs/nuts with Full Race OE manifold

Anyone else running ARP exhaust manifold studs/nuts/bolts with a Full Race OE replacement manifold? If so, how were you able to tighten the bolts above the three runners on the right side of the motor?
I can"t even get a box end or even line wrench on the nuts and they are 12 point so no open end.
If you have this, did you cut down the end of the stud? Maybe use a 6 point nut?

I don't have the ARP stud kit, but I just installed my awdmotorsports manifold and the only thing I could get down there is a 12mm open end wrench. Try cutting the end off a spare 12mm wrench?

I dont have personal experience with that arangement however my best guess would be a 12pt socket with a selection of extenders and swivels and the ratchet of course.

Ah yeah, I wouldn't be asking this question if that were the case.

I know this probably sounds stupid.
The header comes so close to the manifold that you CAN NOT even fit a box end 10mm over the stud. Yes, it is that tight. Just to get those 3 nuts on the studs you have to put them on while it is loose and tighten as you tighten up the manifold.
Yes, I could go to 6 point nuts which is what I will probably end up doing but I thought I would ask first. Even with 6 point nuts it will be a little bit of a PIA.
And of course ARP doesn't make 6 point metric nuts so, so much for spending extra $$$ on ARP studs/nuts/bolts.

Kind of funny that is you go on Full Race's website and look at the pictures you can see some of them don't even have those nuts on. I am sure they were just for pics but......
